1. You are a pirate for half a day, aboard the SEA FUN ADVENTURE privateer shooner
- Sail as a pirate aboard “Liana’s Ransom”, a 85ft replica of an 18th century pirate ship.
Just everything on board (except the safety equipment) is identical to the authentic gear pirates were using 300 years ago.
- Our friendly crew of costumed pirates entertains you - from sword fights, to acrobatics in the mast, and exploding cannons - while you enjoy the sail, and makes you feel as if you were actually on a real pirate ship.
It is like walking into the 1700s!
- You can interact with the pirates if you wish or just sit back and enjoy the party atmosphere and the great music. Costumes and accessories are available for adults and children.
- A fun excursion for families with kids, a fantastic time for guests of all ages.

2. You sail a magnificent tall ship along Grenada's scenic West coast
- We start hoisting the sails a few minutes after leaving the dock (and just after listening to the witty briefing given by the captain about the ship and the safety equipment and procedures).
Our guests are welcome - and generally very happy - to help with the ship’s manoeuvres.
- “Liana’s Ransom” is stunning with all the sails out. She is very comfortable but also quite fast for her size. The views of Grenada's coast from the boat are beautiful.
- We sail along Grenada's protected Caribbean coast, to Morne Rouge Beach or the picturesque Black Bay, depending on the weather, where we anchor offshore.
3. There is a one-hour stop at a beautiful anchorage
The boat anchors off a colourful and shallow coral reef for snorkeling and snacks.
Your choice of activities:
- water activities: snorkeling, swimming (snorkeling gear is available on the boat for free)
- "pirate" games : make someone “walk the plank” (using a plastic sword), “swing the yardarm” above the water...
- relaxation: admire the beautiful scenery, enjoy a drink, jump in the sea if you wish, sunbathe on our spacious deck or just relax.
Sailing back along the famous Grand Anse Beach, we prepare for a last excitement; we fire 4 small canons with ½ ounce of black powder. It is harmless but quite impressive...
